Who are we?

Here at Weeke, Harestock & Teg Down , we provide Scouting to young people in and around the Weeke area of Winchester. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more.

Scouts prepares young people with skills for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience & skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

We have over 180 children who use 1st Place (our HQ) every week.  Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts enjoy a varied programme of adventurous activities in a safe and fun environment.

#SkillsForLife

Adults can have fun too!  Join as one of our Leaders, help out occasionally during evenings, or support the administration behind the scenes.  There is plenty to do!
If you wish for your children to have a fantastic adventure in scouting and you’d like to join in, then please volunteer!
